Under His Holiness Catholicos Karekin II‘s blessing from 1-4 July the Saint Church council meeting of young representatives both from Armenia and all over the world was held in Ararat Patriarchal Diocese. Before passing to the agenda the representatives met the Holy Father and visited the Genocide Memorial “Tsitsernakaberd”. The meeting presided Hovnan Archbishop Derderian the responsible for the spiritual and the Western Diocese. 60 delegates from 40 dioceses participated in the representative Assembly of the Armenian Church headed by the priests. The aim of the meeting was to get ready for the HEEM’s 3rd congress,which will take place in July of 2015,during the meeting programs concerning the Armenian Genocide 100th anniversary as well as Diocesan developing youth programs were discussed. The representatives spoke about their experience,activity,projects within their dioceses.
